  • Teachers and Staff - Our insurance representative Dawn Sullivan will be presenting the school district with health insurance options on April 21st right after school in the library. 

  • Preschool Screening - April 22 - 8:30 - 11:00 am

  • Poster Contest - for Earth Day.  Posters due by April 22 to the cafeteria staff.  Fun prizes to be awarded and ice cream for all who participate.

  • Spring Music Concert - April 22, 6:30pm.

  • Awanas Open House/Fundraiser is April 25 at the town hall from 2-4 pm.  There will be carnival games, chili, hotdogs, and cinnamon rolls for all. Volunteers needed, contact Jeri Fullbright - 231-5052 

  • DGS Athletics Awards Banquet - Monday, May 10, 6pm in the Geyser Multipurpose Room.  Geyser Booster Club will provide the main dish and drinks, families please bring a salad or dessert.  A-M last name - salads, N-Z last name - desserts

  • Fundraising Opportunity - Any group interested in doing concessions during the Denton Softball Tournament on July 10 - 11 please contact Beau Carter.

  • Thank You to the Smithsonian Group from teachers and staff.  The hawaiian treats were delicious!

  • Prom is Saturday - in the Stanford gym, grand march will be at 8pm.  No tickets will be issued ahead of time, pay at the door - $20/couple, $15/single.  Roaring 20’s theme.   Sophomores, juniors, and seniors will decorate today at 9am in Stanford.

  • Teachers and Staff - There is Hawaiian coffee, fresh pineapple (picked on Monday), and hawaiian cookies in the lunch room for you to enjoy as a thank you from the Smithsonian group.

  • Open Gym for K1-4th grades in Stanford tonight from 5:30-6:30.

  • We have school tomorrow. It is our makeup day from when the boiler was down.
