Poster Contest - Show off your DGS spirit in a poster. Each class (including junior high and high school) can submit a poster for a chance to win a gift certificate. Entries due to Mr. Widhalm by Friday morning.
Ticket takers are needed for the following home volleyball matches: September 22nd vs. Power, October 1st vs. Tri-Cities, October 8th vs. Geraldine. If you are interested in taking tickets please contact Mr. Sparks ASAP.

Volleyball Game Day - Friday, Sept 4th - DGS vs. Big Sanday at Stanford. Social distancing and frequent sanitizing is encouraged. No limits on the number of occupants in the building. Concessions will be limited with prepackaged items. Masks are encouraged but not required. There will be a 1 hour break between JH and JV/V and we encourage fans to exit after JH matches if you do not need to attend the later matches.
High School Football Game Day - Saturday, Sept 5th - DGS vs. Geraldine/Highwood at Highwood - 7pm. Highwoood requires anyone that is inside the track to wear a mask. If you are outside the track, you do not need to wear a mask, but you are asked to social distance. Concessions are limited to prepackaged items.
No school this Friday, Sept. 4. No school next Monday, Sept. 7.

High School Girls Basketball team meeting and award handout will be Friday, May 22 at 5pm at the pool park in Stanford. All incoming 8th graders interested in playing HS basketball are welcome to attend and get summer schedules as well!
7th - 11th grades - Students should be in contact with their teachers regarding their grades and semester exam/projects and last week of school work requirements. Items belonging to the school can be returned on May 21 and May 22. Lockers should be cleaned and personal items picked up at this time. Please contact your teachers to schedule a time so that we can limit the number of students/families that we have at the school at any given time.

Congrats to Mercedez for winning the February library contest!
The 7th and 8th graders will be gone today for the Region II Science Fair.
Today is the District Math Competition in Hobson. The start time has been moved back, so now the van will leave at 9:15am. All students that are going on the trip should go to Mr. Hitchcock’s room at the beginning of 2nd pd.

Grades 7-12 - March 17 - Youth Challenge Presentation - Brad Hearon in Lewistown, we will be leaving school at noon.

BPA is selling chocolate candy for Easter. Prices vary. See any BPA student for details. Orders must be done by March 23.
The freshman class is selling butter braids. Orders must be in by March 27th. Congrats to the BPA State team! Birtu placed 6th in Extemporaneous Speech. Morgan placed 2nd in Parliamentary Procedure Concepts, 8th in Advanced Interview Skills, and 3rd in Advanced Word Processing - qualifying for Nationals!!
Grades 7-12 – The presentation on Human Trafficking and Social Media in Stanford, scheduled for today is CANCELLED.
