• Due to a scheduling conflict, the 5th-8th grade girls basketball game against Winifred Tuesday, November 9th has been cancelled.  We will let you know when/if we can reschedule.   If you have any questions, please contact Beau Smith or Powell Becker.

• DGS girls basketball team meeting for any 8th -12th grade girls interested in playing basketball will be held November 9 in Stanford gym at 4 o’clock. It looks like we will be taking 8th graders, but please come with a for sure answer so we can get a solid count to determine whether or not we are eligible to take 8th graders.  Looking forward to this upcoming season. The school will not provide transportation for this meeting, so please plan accordingly.  Parents need not attend.

• Flu Shot Clinic has been rescheduled forNov 8, 2021from 9-11 A.M. 

• FFA Fruit, Meat and Cheese Sales will begin today and run through November 15

• The DGS Volleyball team will open tournament play at 12:30 pm Thursday in Melstone against Broadview-Lavina.  Traverse will leave at 8:15 a.m. We will have a quick send off for the girls at 8:10 outside the main entrance.

• Pep band will leave Denton Thursday morning at 8:45 a.m. and meet Geyser bus in Ace parking lot at 9:30 to travel to Melstone for the Volleyball Tournament

• The DGS Football team will host Broadview-Lavina at 1:00 pm in Stanford on Saturday in the first round of the 6-man playoffs.
