• The AWANA program begins this Friday at the Methodist Church, 9am.

• Junior High Basketball Ticket Rules - Admittance to DGS home games will be allowed using a ticket system.  4 tickets will be allowed for each uniformed member on each team.  Denton parents please call, email, or text Mr. Sparks or Kim Hershberger with the names and number of tickets needed for your athlete at least a day ahead of each game.

• Happy Birthday Kayla!

• It’s Red Ribbon Week - Monday, Oct. 26th - Wear as much Red as you can to support Red Ribbon Week. Tuesday, Oct. 27th - Knock the socks off drugs! Wear Crazy Socks!  Wednesday, Oct. 28th - Put a cap on drug use by wearing your favorite hat! Thursday, Oct. 29th - Scare away drugs - Wear your Halloween Costume!

• Red Ribbon Week Presentation - 1:00 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 28th, in the gym.

• District 8C has changed the JHBB season this year by moving it forward to the fall.  JH Boys (5th - 8th grades) will begin practice today in Stanford and run from 4:15-5:45 pm.  A short parent meeting with boy parents will take place around 5:45 pm in Stanford.  JH Girls (5th - 8th grades) will also begin practice today in Geyser from 4:15 - 5:45 pm.  A short parent meeting will take place in Geyser at 5:45 pm.  A current (this year) physical needs to be on file before a student can practice.

• Volleyball game tonight vs. Park City is Cancelled.

• If you ordered school pictures, you should have received them yesterday.  Please contact the school office if you don’t receive pictures but were expecting them.  Picture retake day is November 5.

• The Book Fair is online this year.  Visit the link:  scholastic.com/fair and search Denton, MT.    You can place orders now through October 30.
