• Tickets for the 5C District Volleyball Tournament are on sale with Mr. Sparks.  Adult tickets are $20.00 and student tickets are $15.00.  The last day to purchase tickets will be Tuesday, October 26th.  General admission tickets will be sold at the event at $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for students.

• The DGS Volleyball team will open tournament play at 12:30 pm Thursday in Melstone against Broadview-Lavina.  Traverse will leave at 8:15 a.m. We will have a quick send off for the girls at 8:10 outside the main entrance.

• The DGS Football team will host Broadview-Lavina at 1:00 pm in Stanford on Saturday in the first round of the 6-man playoffs.

• This week is Red Ribbon Week.  Monday is wear red day to pledge your commitment to being drug free!  Stop in the cafeteria Monday morning for a maple bar compliments of the Masons.

• JHFB team will be fed in Hobson after the game tonight

• Any 5th-8th grade girls interested in playing travel basketball this fall or just want to improve their skills are invited to open gym Tuesday night October 26th in Stanford at 6:00 pm.  A few games have already been scheduled for November 15th and 23rd.  This is not the school sponsored program, but is available for girls who would like to play more basketball.

• End of Quarter is Tuesday, teachers please get all of your grades entered and in by the end of the day Thursday.

• FFA is in search of old FFA jackets. If you have one you would like to donate, please contact Ms Aylward.
