• Congrats to the Junior High Volleyball team on a 2nd place finish and a great season!

• Parents: If your students are going to be absent, please let the office know first thing in the morning. 

• 20/21 yearbooks are on sale! See Summer in the office to purchase - $25.

• Booster Club Dinner, October 16 at the town hall.  Happy hour is 5:00, dinner is 6:00 pm.  Surf and turf, 50/50, raffle prizes, and live auction like it was in the past.  

• FFA will no longer be able to collect recycling.

• FFA is in search of old FFA jackets. If you have one you would like to donate, please contact Ms Aylward.

•  After School Learning Program with Mr. Cauffman on Mondays and Mr. Hitchcock on Wednesdays. All students are welcome to attend. Teachers will be providing help with homework and test preparation as well as providing various learning activities through the use of technology.  For more information see Mr. Sparks, Mr. Cauffman, or Mr. Hitchcock.

• Booster Club Meeting, TONIGHT, Oct 11, 2021@ 7:00 PM

• DGS will be adding cheerleading to its offerings this upcoming winter.  We have hired Tea Thiessen as Head Coach and will begin with a meeting for all interested 7th-12th students and parents on Wednesday, Oct. 13th @ 6:30 p.m. in Stanford.  Coach Thiessen will talk about the program, upcoming season, and will get sizes so that uniforms can be ordered.  Please parents and students accompany your kids for more info.  If you can't make the meeting but are interested in taking part, please contact Coach Thiessen @ the Stanford School.  See you Wednesday!

• There will be a Little Bearcat football game for grades K-5 during halftime of the varsity football game on Saturday, October 16th.  Please meet at the crow's nest 4 minutes before half-time starts.
