Special School Board Meeting - Tonight, 7 pm in the school library.

Basketball - DGS has picked up 2 extra varsity contests on Thursday, Jan. 28th vs. Harlo. Boys will play @ 5 p.m. and Girls will play @ 6:30 p.m.

Clock Keepers & Ticket Takers are needed for Monday, February 1st and Thursday, February 4th. If you can help please contact Mr. Sparks.

The Class of 2022 is selling Valentine's Day flowers. Large bouquets (8 roses with other assorted flowers) are available for $35 and small bouquets (4 roses with other assorted flowers) are available for $20. Please contact Noah or Birtu to purchase. Orders are due Feb. 3.

Attention staff and students - 7-12 grade students and staff will be participating in a training on suicide prevention on Thursday, January 28. 7-12 grade students will participate in the training in the morning, and staff will do the training in afternoon. All students will be dismissed at 12:30pm Thursday so that staff can do the training. Buses will run at 12:30pm.

Denton Lions Club Raffle - If anyone is interested in purchasing a 50/50 ticket to support the Denton ambulance fund, Summer has tickets available in the kitchen - 1 for $5, 5 for $20.

Students and Teachers - There will be a virtual presentation by Dan Parsons on Feb. 2nd at 1:30pm on the history of Pearl Harbor and the USS Missouri. This is mandatory for Smithsonian kids. Work study students will need to make arrangements so that they can be present to attend this presentation.

Denton Community Blood Drive - February 2nd, Town Hall. Parental consent forms are available in the office for 16 and 17 year olds wishing to donate.
