• Jr. High basketball starts Feb. 11 for grades 5-8.
• FFA:  Please get signed up for Spring District FFA on Feb. 6.
• Because of our days off, the 100^th day of school has moved to Friday, Feb. 1.
• DGS vs. WGR @ Denton (1/2) GJV 2:30 p.m./ BJV 3:30 p.m./GV 5 p.m./BV 6:30 p.m.-Just a 1/2 GJV game because of low WGR GBB numbers.
• Little Bearcats will be playing @ the Sat., DGS vs. Winnett/Grass Range basketball game; grades K-2 during the girls’ varsity game & grades 3-4 during half of the boys’ varsity game.
• FYI:  The junior class is selling Little Caesar pizza kits.  Orders are due by Feb. 1.
• 8^th graders:  On Tues., Feb. 5 NAEP testing will be held in the library from 9:10-10:30 a.m.
• Little Bearcat practice schedule dates are Jan. 28 & 31.  They are held immediately after school until 4:00 p.m.  They will be playing during half time of the DGS varsity game on Jan. 26.
• Athletics: Fri., Jan. 25^th -Game Day! DGS vs. Big Sandy @ Big Sandy;  GJV 3:30 p.m./NO BJV/GV 4:30 p.m./BV 6:00 p.m.  Stanford Drives-Geyser leaves @ 12:15 p.m./leave Stanford @ 12:30 p.m./pickup Denton @ Junction @ 12:50 p.m.;  Sat. DGS vs. WGR @ Denton; GJV 2:30 p.m./BJV 3:30 p.m./GV 5 p.m./BV 6:30 p.m.-Geyser Drives-Geyser leaves 12:15 p.m./Pickup Stanford @ 12:30 p.m.
