• Fergus County Health Nurses office would like to schedule an immunization clinic in Denton. Due to new laws, they will need a release of information signed by parents before we can schedule this. These forms will be sent home with students and can also be found on the Denton public school website.

• 20/21 yearbooks are on sale! See Summer in the office to purchase - $25.

• Activity passes are available for purchase in the office.  Passes get you into home (Denton/Geyser/Stanford) games all year long.  K-12 Students - $25, Adults - $40, Family Pass - $125

• If anyone is interested in helping with home volleyball matches on September 2nd please contact Mr. Sparks ASAP. Workers needed are JH line Judges.

• The co-op is looking to try and fill a DGS cheer squad for the winter season.  If any guys or girls are interested please let Mr. Sparks know.  High school students will receive preference but JH students that may be interested will be considered as well. 

• A second JH VB match has been added for Friday vs. Big Sandy.  Matches will now begin at 3:00 p.m. and the bus will leave at 1:30 to Stanford.

• 3 Junior High matches with Broadview/Lavina have been added to the schedule on 9/18 with matches starting at 3:30/4:30/5:30/6:30/+20 in Denton.

• Awana will resume meeting on Tuesday, September 7th after school at the town hall. Please contact Brandy Barber if you have any questions 567-3095 or 380-2031

• Any boys or girls in grades 2-4 are welcome to participate in a flag football game at halftime of the football game in Grass Range on Saturday.  If you are interested in participating please let Mr. Sparks know so that he can get your name on a list in Grass Range.

• Thursday @ 1:00 PM There will be class meetings to discuss Homecoming floats. Please meet in your advisor’s room.

• Fall sports pictures will be on Wednesday September 8th.  JH pics will be in Stanford starting at 4:00 and HS pics will be in Denton at 5:30.  All pictures will be posted in an on-line gallery for purchase so no pre-order forms are needed.
