Students and Teachers - There will be a virtual presentation by Dan Parsons today at 1:30pm on the history of Pearl Harbor and the USS Missouri. This is mandatory for Smithsonian kids. Work study students will need to make arrangements so that they can be present to attend this presentation.
The Class of 2022 is selling Valentine's Day flowers. Large bouquets (8 roses with other assorted flowers) are available for $35 and small bouquets (4 roses with other assorted flowers) are available for $20. Please contact Noah or Birtu to purchase. Orders are due Feb. 3.
Grades K - 4 - Bittyball will begin next Monday, February 8. Permissions slips will be going home today with more information and should be turned in by this Thursday.
Rod and Gun Club for grades 3-6 today afterschool.
The Smithsonian group is doing a raffle to support their trip to Hawaii. Grand prize is half of a pig processed and ready to go. Other prizes can be won as well including a cooler backpack. Tickets will be drawn at the game Thursday. See a high school student to purchase tickets. Smithsonian kids - if you need more raffle tickets, we have some in the office.
Denton Community Blood Drive - TODAY, Town Hall. Parental consent forms are available in the office for 16 and 17 year olds wishing to donate.
February is I love to Read Month! K-3 students earn tickets to be put in a drawing to win a bike for each 15 minutes they read or are read to. 4-6 grade students earn tickets by reading books and completing AR quizzes with 80% accuracy, which puts them in a drawing for a Kindle.
Denton Home Basketball Game Thursday - We will again be allowing 125 DGS fans into the games vs. Fort Benton on Thursday, Feb. 4th. Please contact Mr. Sparks or Kim to get on the list.
A clock keeper is still needed for Thursday’s game. If you can help out, please contact Mr. Sparks.
