• Congrats to Students of the Week - Sam G., Hannah H., and Quinten!

• Friday - A clock keeper is still needed for Friday's games as well as a ticket taker for 2 games.  If interested please contact Mr. Sparks ASAP.

• Attention staff and students - 7-12 students and staff will be participating in a training on suicide prevention on Thursday, January 28.  7-12 grade students will participate in the training in the morning, and staff will get the training in afternoon.  All students will be dismissed at 12:30pm so school staff can participate in a separate training.  Buses will run at 12:30pm on January 28.   

• Denton Lions Club Raffle - If anyone is interested in purchasing a 50/50 ticket to support the Denton ambulance fund, Summer has tickets available in the kitchen - 1 for $5, 5 for $20.

• Students and Teachers - There will be a virtual presentation by Dan Parsons on Feb. 2nd at 1:30pm on the history of Pearl Harbor and the USS Missouri.  Smithsonian kids will take part in this presentation.

• Concessions for the Jan. 22nd game - Mattie, Emory, and Noah will work the girls games and Salena, Birtu, Callie, and Mese will work the boys games.

• Smithsonian - gym cleanup on Sunday, Jan. 24th.  Time TBD.

• Denton home game - Tomorrow - Jan. 22 vs. Jordan - 125 DGS fans will be allowed to attend. Please let Kim in the office or Mr. Sparks know if you would like to attend and your name will be placed on the list.  The list will be finalized and no other requests will be allowed after 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22nd. NO tickets will be issued. First come first serve. 

• Denton Community Blood Drive - February 2nd, Town Hall.  Parental consent forms are available in the office for 16 and 17 year olds wishing to donate.
