Sat., Dec. 14:  Fergus holiday Basketball Classic Tournament - BJV vs Broadus at 

11:30 am at the Civic Center; GV vs North Country at 11:30 am at Fergus High, 

GJV vs Broadus at 1 pm at the Civic Center, BV vs Shields Valley at 7 pm at Fergus High

Mon., Dec. 16:  Student Council will have a brief meeting in the library during CST; 

Christmas Concert - 6:30 pm - Students arrive at 6 pm and bring a dozen cookies 

per family

Tues., Dec. 17: Mentor/Mentee meeting - Tuesday, December 17th - Meet at 11:40 in

the art room; BPA will have a brief meeting in the library during CST; School

Board Meeting - 7:00 pm, library

Wed., Dec. 18: Dawson Community College Rep - 1:00 pm

Thurs., Dec. 19:  

Fri., Dec. 20:  Early Out - 11:53 am; Basketball vs Winnett/Grass Range at Geyser - no

GJV, BJV at 3:30 pm, GV at 5:00 pm, BV at 6:30 pm

Sat., Dec. 21: Speech and Drama meet at Fergus High; Basketball vs Tri City at

Hobson - GJV - 2:00 pm, BJV - 3:30 pm, GV - 5:00 pm, BV - 6:30 pm

• Thanks to amazing sales from the book fair, the Denton library now has over $650 in its Scholastic account, which can go right to buying more books for the library. 

• Congrats to FFA members on their success at Winter Districts in Winifred - 

      -The Parliamentary Procedure Team placed 1st and qualified for State. Parker and

       Morgan tied for 1st individually. Jessica placed 6th, Keonna placed 7th, Kein placed 

       8th.

 -The Sales Team qualified for state by placing 6th. The team consisted of Mese,  

  Birtu, Callie and Maddie

      -The FFA Test Team placed 4th. Salena placed 1st individually and Callie placed

       7th.

      -Extemporaneous Speaking - Morgan placed 2nd (Qualified for State) and Birtu    

       placed 4th.

      -Prepared Speaking - Birtu placed 5th.

      -Creed Speaking - Maddie placed 2nd (Qualified for State) and Callie placed 5th

      -District Star Greenhand contest - Maddie placed 2nd. 

• Christmas Break - No School December 23 - Jan 3.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  School resumes Monday, January 6.

• Basketball Games over break - Jan. 3 at Big Sandy - GJV - 3:00 pm, BJV - 4:30 pm, GV - 6:00 pm, BV - 7:30 pm; Jan. 4 at Denton vs. Roy/Winifred - GJV - 3:00 pm, BJV - 4:30 pm, GV - 6:00 pm, BV - 7:30 pm

• Date change!  There will be NO school on February 20 and 21st.  There will be school on February 13 and 14.
